UFO CLI 1.5.2

UFO CLI 1.5.2 improves local document reading and guarded edits across the CLI and MCP server.

• Read HUFF/CDIC-compressed MOBI books and convert supported books and readable text into EPUB, MOBI, PDF or text copies within documented bounds.
• Improve PDF text extraction and supported text editing, Office formula/chart edits, and source-preserving file operations.
• Preserve originals, return reviewable receipts, and retain explicit limits for unsupported structures.

Native installation supports Linux x86_64 with glibc 2.35 or newer. Ubuntu 24.04 and Debian 12 installation and interactive Microsoft Office acceptance passed. The restricted container processes documents with networking disabled.

The engine binaries use the UFO business use license. They are free for individuals and eligible small organizations; larger organizations need the published organization license. Android and Windows Pro purchases are separate.
