Bug Fixes

  • Updates now install in the right place. Installed for all users, an update could end up as a second, separate copy and leave the original on the old version. Nectar now tells the updater where it is installed, so it updates in place and asks for administrator permission when it needs it.
  • Uninstalling now removes the Nectar folder. It could be left behind because Nectar lost track of how it was installed and didn't ask for administrator permission, or because the cleanup ran from inside the folder and couldn't delete it. Uninstalling an all-users install now asks for permission and removes everything.
  • Updating no longer replaces Nectar's uninstaller window with a plain one, so Uninstall looks and behaves the same before and after an update.
