Word-like editor chrome. All bars now conform to the editor pane instead of spanning the window.

  • Word-style status bar: thin, theme-aware strip with page indicator ("Page 3 of 22"), word count, zoom, type size, paper size, margins, background, and a settings popover — confined to the editor pane so sidebars stay visible.
  • Editing Toolbar integration: when the Editing Toolbar plugin is present, its strip is adopted into a chrome band docked flush to the pane top — on macOS the band contains the window traffic lights like a native title bar (except in fullscreen).
  • Auto-hide chrome: toolbar and status bar fade after 1.5s of pointer idle and return when the mouse reaches the pane's top or bottom edge; they stay pinned while hovered, during slider drags, and while popovers are open. The page never shifts when chrome comes and goes.
  • Overlay scrollbar: a slim draggable scrollbar at the right edge of the pane — zero layout impact, page-by-page track clicks, idle fade, hidden when the note fits on screen.
  • Fixed composition-mode chrome overlapping the macOS traffic lights when the sidebar is collapsed.

Also includes 1.1.6 (never released): Mod + Shift + C default shortcut for toggling Composition Mode.
