Release list
HyperTrader 0.8.3
- HIP-3 markets. Markets run by builders on their own Hyperliquid perp dexs (named like
xyz:TSLA) are now listed, priced live and tradeable. A dex that fails to load is skipped. They are isolated-margin only on Hyperliquid. - Category chips. Removed from the sidebar and the overview widget; market search keeps them.
HyperTrader 0.8.2
HyperTrader 0.8.2
Hyperliquid setup has one more approval step, "Finish setup". Wallets connected before this update are asked for it once, on the next connect.
Live order placement has not been run against Hyperliquid with real funds.
HyperTrader 0.8.1
HyperTrader 0.8.1
New
- TPO opacity. A TPO opacity slider (5 to 100%) sets the letters, blocks, point of control and single prints. The old "Bar opacity" slider only reached the volume, delta and bid-by-ask bars, and is now "Volume bar opacity".
- Drawings have a style bar when selected (colour, width, solid, dashed or dotted, fill), can be dragged or resized by their end points, and every change can be undone and redone with Ctrl or Cmd Z.
Ladder and order book
- Ladder rows hold still while the pointer is over them, and a click is dropped if the row's price changed between press and release.
- An armed ladder disarms after 30 seconds or when the window loses focus, blocks a post-only order that would cross the spread, and reports a failed order or cancel.
- Traded volume survives a change of price step, your own orders sit on the row the book draws them on, replayed trades are no longer counted twice, and the last trade is marked beside its price.
- Sizes follow each market's decimals: 0.0001 no longer reads 0.000 and 999.6 no longer reads 1000.
- The order book fits its rows to its height, and a resize no longer shows every new level as new size.
Faster and tidier
- Finished TPO sessions, the visible volume profile and market structure are kept instead of rebuilt, the footprint skips levels outside the pane, and the order-flow widget no longer re-sorts every market on each price tick. An idle busy workspace uses about 29% of a core, down from about 32%.
- A type scale, sentence-case section titles, larger title-bar buttons and one shared colour swatch.
Live order placement from the ladder has not been run against Hyperliquid with real funds.

If 0.7.1 will not open for you, download and install this version by hand. 0.7.1 can download an update but can only install it from a button in the window that fails to appear. This release includes the fix.
The app opens again
0.7.1 read layouts saved by earlier versions as if they already had its new profile settings. With a TPO profile on, the window stayed empty; with it off, switching it on took the app down. Saved layouts and settings are now repaired on every start. A widget that fails shows its own error panel, a profile that fails switches itself off, and if the app cannot start, crashes or hangs it offers Reload, Reset Layout (your old layout is kept as a backup), Install Update and Quit.
New
- P&L tab in Positions and orders, from Hyperliquid's account history: result over 24h, 7d, 30d or all time with its curve, account value, volume, largest fall, fees and winning closes, for the whole account or perpetuals alone, and what each market made or lost. Hyperliquid only.
- Data sources in one place. Settings > Data sources chooses the venues (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, Deribit) added to volume and flow. Profiles, the ladder, the tape, liquidations, the chart's volume bars, the footprint, market stats and the order-flow widget all follow it, over one shared connection per venue.
- Indicator settings. Click an indicator's name for typed inputs (price source, average type, switches), per-line colour, width, dash and visibility, editable guide levels, reset, and Save as default.
- Profiles. Sessions of any length that divides a day, on a clock you choose; up to four custom named sessions; weekdays; placement left, right or at the price axis; width in pixels; letter size; line styles; named templates, with one for new charts and apply to all charts. Right-click a profile to split a session or join it with the one before.
- Right-click menus on the chart and on indicators, a status bar with each source's connection and the time in UTC, Settings pages for Indicators and Widgets, a settings search, and a settings gear on widget title bars.
Faster
- First chart on a second launch: about 130 ms (was 500 to 900). First-ever launch: about 1 s (was 1.2 to 1.9).
- Switching to a saved market: about 10 ms (was 700 to 1,000).
- A busy workspace (four charts with profiles and five indicators each, a ladder and a tape) uses about 30% of a core while idle, down from about 50%, and pan and zoom frames take about 8 ms, down from 14. The order book, tape and ladder are now drawn on canvas.
HyperTrader 0.7.1
- Profile settings, rebuilt. A proper dialog (Profiles > Profile settings) replaces the cramped menu: sections for Layers, Levels, Sessions, Colours, Venues and Derivatives, each with a one-line summary of what it is set to, clear filled selected states, and a live preview that draws your settings. A preset menu says which preset you match, or "Custom".
- Layers you tick together. TPO letters, Volume, Delta and Bid × Ask are each switched on or off by themselves, and each has its own placement (a column of its own, or overlaid across the whole session), column width, colour mode (time, delta, buy/sell, by venue, heat) and numbers beside rows. The point of control and value area can come from TPO, volume and delta at once, each in its own colour.
- Colours you can change. Every colour the profile draws has a swatch: letters (first and last period), volume, buying and selling, value area, each source's point of control, initial balance, VWAP, nodes, poor highs and lows, tails, migration and each venue. Changed colours are marked, can be reset one by one or all at once, and are kept.
- Order Block and CHOCH colours. Bullish and bearish blocks and CHOCH/BOS lines each have a colour in the indicator's settings, plus block opacity and a switch for labels.
- Order book: rows no longer vanish beside the spread in a fast market. A level that trades or a new best price has used up stays as an empty row until the next snapshot, and each side is always a full list.
- Old profile settings are converted to the new layers automatically.
HyperTrader 0.7.0
- Profiles, for derivatives traders: the TPO profile can now show time at price (letters or blocks), volume, delta or bid × ask at each price, built from this exchange plus Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase and Deribit, each switchable (Profiles > Venues, with a live status per venue). Past sessions use 1m, 5m and 15m bars; the current session uses every trade as it happens. Sessions can be 24/12/8h, Asia, London, New York (following daylight saving), custom hours, or a week or month composite; the Range profile tool profiles any stretch you drag out. Key levels: previous POC, value area and high/low, naked POCs, session VWAP, high/low volume nodes, poor highs and lows, excess tails, initial balance extensions and POC migration. Open interest change, funding and liquidations show above each session. Presets: Classic TPO, Volume profile, Delta profile, Derivatives, Sessions. Delta for older sessions is approximate (marked with ~) because only some venues report who was buying in bar data; the live session is exact.
- Price ladder: the Traded column now adds up every enabled venue's trades at each price, with a bar split by venue, and a new Δ column shows buyers minus sellers. An imbalance strip sits above the columns, and right-click > Aggregate venues turns the venue trades off. Rows redraw only when they change.
- Faster: the order book redraws about 12 times a second and the ladder 15 (the data underneath is always current), with far less layout and paint work: renderer CPU with the book open is roughly 40% lower and DOM changes are about half. Price flashes no longer add and remove elements. Nothing is redrawn while the window is hidden.
e2e/book-cost.mjsmeasures it. - Indicator panes take a modest share of the chart (about 30% for two indicators, never more than 60% in total), can be resized by dragging their edge, remember where you put them, and the other chart in the workspace takes the same share so the price panes line up. The legend's ^ button hides the indicator list.
- Fixed the Binance liquidation feed, which had gone quiet because Binance moved its futures websocket path.
HyperTrader 0.6.0
- Order book: an imbalance bar (resting buys against sells over the top 5, 10, 25 levels or the whole book) and a column showing how each level's size changed in the last moment, both switchable from the View menu. In fast markets the book is kept sorted and never crossed, a sweeping trade clears the levels it went through, and replayed or repeated trades are no longer taken off twice. Depth bars glide to their width and rescale smoothly, and rows flash only on meaningful changes.
- Indicators: every indicator can be hidden with its eye, all at once with the eye in the toolbar or Alt+I, and the legend collapses to one line with the ^ button. New Order Blocks & CHOCH (swing structure with order-block boxes and CHOCH/BOS lines) and Anchored VWAP (pick an anchor bar by clicking the chart, optional deviation bands). The indicator menu has search and groups.
- New look: a high-contrast terminal theme, Pro (and Pro Light), is the default for new installs; saved theme choices are kept. Sharper chrome with layered widgets, an active-chart glow, animated menus and dialogs, sliding selectors and side toggle, price ticks that flash, skeleton loaders, a regrouped chart toolbar, and a tidier sidebar and header.
HyperTrader 0.5.3
HyperTrader 0.5.3
- Positions panel reads at any width: the full table when wide, a shorter table at medium widths, and a card per position and per open order when narrow. New totals strip, distance to liquidation, a sort button, and a roomier Manage popover that shows P&L.
- Small windows: the window can shrink to 720 x 480. The sidebar becomes the narrow rail below 1100 px, widgets stack in one scrolling column below 900 px (your saved layout is kept), and the header tabs and chart toolbar scroll instead of clipping.
- Price alerts are set on the chart now: press + on the price axis and choose Alert instead. Alert lines drag to a new price and have an x to delete them. The alerts widget is gone. Settings > General has tone, volume, preview, how long the notification stays up, and your alert list.
- Order book: rows are a fixed height, and the number of levels follows the widget height.
- Dependencies updated (Electron 44.7, WalletConnect 2.26, react-grid-layout 2.3); less redrawing when the market list refreshes.
HyperTrader 0.5.2
HyperTrader 0.5.2
- The order book moves on every trade and best bid/ask message (like the ladder), not just the exchange's twice-a-second snapshots, and rows flash when their size changes.
- Dragging a widget onto another swaps their places; resizing makes neighbours give way. Nothing is pushed out of sight, and the drop target is highlighted.
- The macOS window buttons are centred in the title bar.
HyperTrader 0.5.1
HyperTrader 0.5.1
- Ladder: fixed the ladder blanking to "Loading ladder…" over and over when it was saved in your layout. It now also updates from each trade and from the exchange's best bid and ask between book snapshots, and keeps its rows on screen when you change the price step. Resting depth itself can only arrive as fast as the exchange sends it, about twice a second.
- Order form: the built-in order form no longer lands as a hidden sliver when your layout is full, and it keeps the size you type when you switch markets.
Deposit, move and withdraw are still untested with real funds; try a small amount first.
