HyperTrader 0.8.0
HyperTrader 0.8.0
If 0.7.1 will not open for you, download and install this version by hand. 0.7.1 can download an update but can only install it from a button in the window that fails to appear. This release includes the fix.
The app opens again
0.7.1 read layouts saved by earlier versions as if they already had its new profile settings. With a TPO profile on, the window stayed empty; with it off, switching it on took the app down. Saved layouts and settings are now repaired on every start. A widget that fails shows its own error panel, a profile that fails switches itself off, and if the app cannot start, crashes or hangs it offers Reload, Reset Layout (your old layout is kept as a backup), Install Update and Quit.
New
- P&L tab in Positions and orders, from Hyperliquid's account history: result over 24h, 7d, 30d or all time with its curve, account value, volume, largest fall, fees and winning closes, for the whole account or perpetuals alone, and what each market made or lost. Hyperliquid only.
- Data sources in one place. Settings > Data sources chooses the venues (Binance, Bybit, OKX, Coinbase, Deribit) added to volume and flow. Profiles, the ladder, the tape, liquidations, the chart's volume bars, the footprint, market stats and the order-flow widget all follow it, over one shared connection per venue.
- Indicator settings. Click an indicator's name for typed inputs (price source, average type, switches), per-line colour, width, dash and visibility, editable guide levels, reset, and Save as default.
- Profiles. Sessions of any length that divides a day, on a clock you choose; up to four custom named sessions; weekdays; placement left, right or at the price axis; width in pixels; letter size; line styles; named templates, with one for new charts and apply to all charts. Right-click a profile to split a session or join it with the one before.
- Right-click menus on the chart and on indicators, a status bar with each source's connection and the time in UTC, Settings pages for Indicators and Widgets, a settings search, and a settings gear on widget title bars.
Faster
- First chart on a second launch: about 130 ms (was 500 to 900). First-ever launch: about 1 s (was 1.2 to 1.9).
- Switching to a saved market: about 10 ms (was 700 to 1,000).
- A busy workspace (four charts with profiles and five indicators each, a ladder and a tape) uses about 30% of a core while idle, down from about 50%, and pan and zoom frames take about 8 ms, down from 14. The order book, tape and ladder are now drawn on canvas.
