What is new

• Add note commands for public full-text retrieval, AI summaries, and combined retrieval/summarization.
• Support local Codex, Claude Code, OpenCode, pi, and custom CLI agents with executable detection and per-device settings.
• Generate topic tags with summaries, merging existing frontmatter tags.
• Summary-only commands fetch missing full text in the background without inserting it into the note. Preserve content outside recognized sections.
• Add a source dialog with automatic RSS/Atom title detection when Title is empty.
• Use date_created/date_updated on saved notes while retaining legacy note indexing.
• Fix Save/open note rejecting non-template plugin settings.

Installation

Desktop Obsidian 1.8.7 or later. Install/update the attached main.js, manifest.json, and styles.css, then reload the plugin. Local CLI agents must be installed and authenticated separately; their configured providers may receive article content.

Validation and limitations

Build and 185 automated tests passed; one opt-in scale test skipped. Tests include mocked UI/provider protocols and real Node subprocess lifecycle checks. Native Obsidian end-to-end and real model/provider interoperability are not fully verified. Public HTML extraction does not handle login walls or JavaScript-only pages. CLI temporary working directories are not a complete OS sandbox; global CLI/MCP configuration remains trusted.
