Vault Feed Reader 0.2.0

What is new

• Add note commands for public full-text retrieval, AI summaries, and combined retrieval/summarization.

Validation and limitations

Build and 185 automated tests passed; one opt-in scale test skipped. Tests include mocked UI/provider protocols and real Node subprocess lifecycle checks. Native Obsidian end-to-end and real model/provider interoperability are not fully verified. Public HTML extraction does not handle login walls or JavaScript-only pages. CLI temporary working directories are not a complete OS sandbox; global CLI/MCP configuration remains trusted.

Vault Feed Reader 0.1.2

Remove the redundant plugin-name settings heading identified by the 0.1.1 community review. Functional section headings and settings behavior remain unchanged.

Validation: build and 91 tests passed; one opt-in scale test skipped. Native Obsidian appearance and minimum-version compatibility were not tested. Community review is pending.

Manual check: open plugin settings, confirm the plugin name is not repeated at the top, and verify subscription settings, saved note templates, preview, and Apply remain usable.

Vault Feed Reader 0.1.1

Fixes the four blocking findings from the 0.1.0 Obsidian community review:

• Preserve registered view layout when the plugin unloads.
• Use native settings headings.
• Render sanitized DOM fragments without innerHTML writes, sharing sanitization and HTTP(S) URL rules with saved notes.
• Use a CSS class for the subscription import editor width.

Validation: build and 91 tests passed; one opt-in scale test skipped. Added security regression coverage for fragment/string parity and unsafe URL removal. Native Obsidian layout reload, settings appearance, minimum-version compatibility, and real OPML interoperability remain unverified.

Vault Feed Reader 0.1.0

Initial release of Vault Feed Reader, a desktop RSS/Atom reader for Obsidian.

• Browse feeds with folders, filters, keyboard navigation, and read/unread state.
• Save selected articles as Markdown without overwriting existing notes.
• Customize saved note filenames, bodies, and properties.
• Import and export YAML, TOML, and OPML subscriptions.
• Keep subscriptions and reading state in the vault, with a disposable local article cache.

Validation: build and 90 regular tests passed; one opt-in scale test skipped. Current-release desktop validation, minimum-version compatibility, and OPML interoperability with real exports remain unverified. See the repository validation documents for earlier test scope.
