Improvement: add EXIF data to images (location, compass heading)

I'm using the images taken from within OSMTracker. But the exported images lack EXIF data (location and direction).
My current workflow is to geolocate them later in JOSM or with the mapillary cli tool.
But for the direction this workaround does not work out as either the direction is derived from the GPX track or points to the next waypoint.

The waypoint created from OSMTracker when taking a picture has the correct compass heading either as comment or extension already included.

It would be nice to save them within the pictures when exporting data as GPX.

Can not reproduce the bug. I guess you have to change the setting of your "camera" app to allows it to save locations in Exif data of the picture.

@Binnette Just tried it again, it's not a setting of the camera app. But as the compass heading already exists for each waypoint (if is enabled in the settings) either as extension of the waypoint or as comment: could something be added like this on track export:

if there is a compass heading in the waypoint and there is a picture attached to the waypoint, add compass heading as GPSImgDirection?
