Logbook September 2026
Week of Monday 7th — The package is modernized for GHC 9.12.3 and Nix, moved to the lambdasistemi organization, and prepared as Hackage candidate 0.1.0.2 with its documentation. By the weekend CI also guards the published API and Hackage quality, and the API reference is served from GitHub Pages. Publication waits on maintainer review.
Contributors get a reproducible GHC 9.12.3 build, CI, documentation and Spec Kit records through draft PR 3.
- The untouched GitHub source built with GHC 9.12.3 and passed all six tests.
- GitLab was nine commits ahead; its library and tests matched published Hackage 0.1.0.1.
- The work branch retained that history and added the tooling modernization.
- The modernized checkout and rebuilt source archive pass eight tests plus the documented example. Two compiled mutation controls demonstrate dependency regression coverage; a formatting control also fails as intended.
- The operator authorized the repository transfer, completed with repository ID
110524936preserved. The old GitHub Git URL redirects correctly. - Hackage publication has not occurred. The modernization remains on a draft PR; review its current checks before treating it as accepted.
The operator requested release preparation followed by a stop. Candidate 1df1ada51bfff696d1f4637c50b195ba1ec64efb is pushed on PR 3, with every GitHub CI check successful.
The source archive passes Cabal package checks without warnings and builds and passes eight tests plus the example after extraction. A Hackage-mode Haddock bundle and SHA256 checksums are prepared. The optional docs bundle lacks some dependency type links because their interfaces were not installed locally; its own module/source pages and generated-lens descriptions are present.
Release preparation and transfer handoff. No Hackage upload, tag, GitHub release or PR merge was performed. Work is stopped pending maintainer review/publication.
Library users can browse the current embedded API reference, including module and source navigation. Maintainers have refreshed source and Haddock archives for candidate d9001c2fd9586190a97fc56864b8c8c14e050268 in PR 3.

All CI checks passed, including compatibility with Hackage 0.1.0.1 and onEach traversal, archive rebuild/test, standard Fourmolu, HLint, and Hackage quality. Nine tests plus the example pass; all four modules have 100% Haddock coverage. Deployment verified 18 HTML/renderer files against the candidate; browser module/source navigation passed. Missing dependency interfaces still leave some external types unlinked; available dependency links point to versioned Hackage documentation.
The updated release handoff records both archive checksums. Version 0.1.0.2 remains prepared, with no Hackage upload, tag, GitHub release or merge. Preparation is complete and stopped.
