F-14B Tomcat

The CDU cycles between two pages: a RIO CAP page (tactical data entry) and a Radio + IFF page (communications and transponder status). The Radio page is shown on load.

The AGP32 shows the landing-gear lights and the cockpit clock/timer.

Covers both the F-14B and F-14A-135-GR variants (detected automatically).

Supported devices

Device What it shows
CDU (MCDU / PFP3N / PFP7 / PFP4) RIO CAP page, Radio + IFF page
AGP32 Gear position lights (left, nose, right), gear warning, UTC clock, chrono, elapsed time

Pages

The CDU switches between the two pages using configurable keys (defaults: PrevPage → RIO CAP, NextPage → Radio + IFF), which you can remap in the Options panel.

The Radio page is shown by default.

RIO CAP page

Mirrors the RIO's Computer Address Panel — the tactical data-entry panel used by the Radar Intercept Officer.

The top line shows the current HCU mode (TID / TCS / RADAR / DDD), the WCS radar mode (TWS Auto, Pulse Search, TWS Man, PD Search, PD STT, RWS, Pulse STT), and the selected CAP category (BIT, SPL, NAV, TAC DATA, D/L, TGT DATA).

Below it, the CAP category labels are listed in pairs, alternating white (upper) and cyan (lower) to match the cockpit CAP panel layout.

Radio + IFF page

Shows live status for both radios and the IFF transponder, exactly as they read in the cockpit.

UHF — ARC-159 (pilot)

Shows the radio function (OFF / MAIN / BOTH / ADF), the frequency mode (preset / manual / guard), the active channel or preset, the frequency, and a squelch indicator. When the radio is off, the line shows OFF in place of the frequency.

VUHF — ARC-182 (RIO)

Shows the mode (OFF / T/R / T/R&G / DF / TEST), the frequency mode, the channel or preset, the frequency, the FM/AM selection, and a squelch indicator. When the radio is off, the line shows OFF in place of the frequency.

IFF — AN/APX-76 (RIO)

Mirrors the transponder panel: the MASTER setting (OFF / STBY / LOW / NORM / EMER), the Mode 1 / 2 / 3A switches (OFF / ON / TST), Mode 4 (OFF / ON), the IDENT setting (OFF / MIC / IDT), and the CODE position (HLD / A / B / ZRO). The selected Mode 1 and Mode 3 codes are shown on their own line.

AGP32

Gear lights

AGP32 LED Meaning
Gear 1 (left) green Left main gear down-and-locked
Gear 2 (nose) green Nose gear down-and-locked
Gear 3 (right) green Right main gear down-and-locked
UNLK red + red arrow Any gear not down-and-locked

Clock display

AGP32 display Content
Clock (HH:MM) UTC hours and minutes
CHR (MM:SS) Chronograph minutes and seconds
ET (HH:MM) Elapsed hours and minutes — shown only when elapsed hours are above zero

Seconds on the main clock always read 00 (the cockpit provides no seconds output).

Front panels

The FCU/EFIS and PAP3 panels stay idle.

Notes

  • The F-14 pilot has no traditional CDU; the CAP is exclusively a RIO instrument. The bridge shows RIO data regardless of which seat is active in DCS.
