Download DCS-BIOS v0.11.5 or later (required — nightly builds are no longer supported):
-
Extract the DCS-BIOS folder to your DCS saved games Scripts directory:
%USERPROFILE%\Saved Games\DCS\Scripts\DCS-BIOS\If you've relocated your Saved Games folder (right-click it > Properties > Location), extract there instead — the app finds it automatically either way.
-
Configure Export.lua in your Scripts folder:
dofile(lfs.writedir() .. [[Scripts\DCS-BIOS\BIOS.lua]])
⚠️ If you already have an Export.lua file, add the line above instead of overwriting it.
- Download from the releases page and extract to your preferred folder
the app is the .zip file you can find under the Assets of the release.
- You can now plug/ unplug you devices while the app is started
-
Run
WctrlDcsBiosBridge.exeYou should see a windows trust warning ( if you don't accpet the app won't launch ) On first launch, the app looks for DCS-BIOS under your real Saved Games folder — even if you've relocated it to another drive — and fills in the JSON path automatically. In that case you won't see a Configuration pop-up at all. - If it can't find it automatically, the Configuration pop-up opens so you can select the DCS-BIOS JSON folder manually — typically at:
Saved Games/DCS/Scripts/DCS-BIOS/doc/json
once done, click Save
Use the configuration tab to tune it to you needs.
