If the value in the Number of Testimonials to display in Testimonials sidebox setting isn't '0' (or an empty string) and you've used the admin's Tools :: Layout Boxes Controller to add the testimonials_manager sidebox to the site's current template, a sidebox of testimonials is displayed. |
If the Define Testimonial setting's value is either '0' (Link ON, Define Text OFF) or '1' (Link ON, Define Text ON), an entry is added to the site's "Information" sidebox, providing a quick link to the display_all_testimonials page:
When a customer clicks the "Read More ..." link from a testimonials' listing, the details of the chosen testimonial are displayed and the customer can up-vote or down-vote on the testimonial.
If the Only registered customers may submit a testimonial setting is 'true', the customer must be logged into their account to add a testimonial. Use the 'false' value at your own risk!
This page displays similar to the following. The customer can choose the 'type' of review and then supply the title and contents of the testimonial.
