Fixes

  • Pasted images now insert Obsidian embed syntax like ![[Pasted Image.png]] instead of fragile Markdown image links.
  • Media paste and drag now respect Obsidian's configured vault attachment folder from .obsidian/app.json instead of assuming Attachments/.
  • If no fixed attachment folder is configured, pasted media is stored at the vault root.
  • Preview rendering now supports Obsidian media embeds like ![[image.png]] and ![[video.mp4|Demo]].
  • Wikilinks such as [[Note]] and [[Note|Alias]] now render as links/chips instead of plain bracket text.
  • Existing Markdown media embeds such as ![Title](path-or-url) continue to render.

  • xcodebuild test -project ObsidianSideNote.xcodeproj -scheme ObsidianSideNote -destination 'platform=macOS' -only-testing:ObsidianSideNoteTests
  • Release build with Xcode
  • codesign --verify --deep --strict
  • hdiutil verify on the DMG

macOS Gatekeeper

This build is signed for local distribution testing but is not Apple Developer ID notarized yet. If macOS blocks the first launch, Control-click the app in Finder and choose Open, or remove quarantine with xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine /Applications/ObsidianSideNote.app.
