Obsidian Side Note 2.1 improves the Markdown editor, vault search, and multi-window note workflows.

Changed

  • Added independent, cascaded New Note and Edit Vault File windows.
  • Fixed toolbar commands and macOS text replacements.
  • Improved Markdown lists with cap-height-centered bullets, hanging indentation, synchronous indentation/continuation, and predictable blank-item exit.
  • Added fuzzy, directory-scoped vault search with ranked and limited suggestions.
  • Rendered pasted image embeds inline while preserving their Markdown source.
  • Kept New Note resume sessions fresh while editing and closing notes.
  • Extended the draggable title area across the complete top edge.
