Introduction

TangBaoStudio ("we", "our", or "us") operates the AptFold mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App.

Information We Do NOT Collect

AptFold is designed with your privacy in mind. We do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. All data you create within the App — including your home layout, room configurations, item lists, and preferences — is stored locally on your device only.

Specifically:

  • No account registration — You do not need to create an account to use AptFold.
  • No cloud sync — All data stays on your device. We do not have access to your inventory data.
  • No analytics SDK — We do not integrate third-party analytics or tracking tools.
  • No location data — We do not access your device location.

Data Storage

All application data is persisted using your device's local storage (localStorage via WebView). This data remains on your device and is only accessible by the App. If you uninstall the App, this data will be removed.

Third-Party Services

The App uses Google AdMob to serve advertisements. AdMob is an advertising service provided by Google that may collect anonymous device information to deliver more relevant ads.

  • Google may use device identifiers (such as IDFA on iOS or Android Advertising ID) to serve personalized ads.
  • You can reset your advertising identifier or opt out of personalized ads via your device Settings > Privacy > Advertising.
  • You can manage your ad privacy preferences at any time through the "Ad Privacy Options" in the app menu.

The integration with AdMob also leverages Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) to handle user consent where required (e.g., GDPR in the EEA).

Children's Privacy

Our App does not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from anyone.
