🚀 Bridge v1.0 - First Official Release 🚀

We are thrilled to announce version 1.0 of Bridge, a web app designed to facilitate the inclusion of refugees, helping them to acquire new skills or strengthen existing ones, in order to speed up and improve their integration in a host country that is unknown to them and hostile at first glance.

⚠️ User Assistance ⚠️

  • Ve have developed a 📩 notification system 📩 that informs the refugee every time that his application has been accepted and notifies a volunteer or a specialized figure every time an application is submitted to his advert.
  • We have developed a 🤖 chatbot system 🤖 to support the user active 24/7, ready to solve any problem and answer any question that is asked.

🔧 Technologies Used:

  • Frontend: REACT
  • Backend: Java in combo with Spring Boot Framework
  • Backend (persistent data Management): MySQL and MongoDB
    In particular we have used MySQL to store everything that is not multimedial content. We have used MongoDB as an auxiliary Database only for CDN pourpose (We are crazy we know).
  • AI Assistent: OpenAI API
