Yeah the instructions for this don't take into account the new google play version, so how do we do this?

It needs a Xposed framework installed (which would need root), and the LibrePods module enabled for that setting to show

What's the main feature you're looking for with the VendorID spoof? Rooting and installing Xposed is a security risk, and will result in several things breaking like banking apps, Play Integrity, etc..

Yeah I don't root my phones anymore because of this. For me it would be nice to have Multi-device connectivity, and possibly Customize Transparency Mode. But yeah not worth rooting over. Thanks for the app, working good.

i was not aware rooting would do that. I just wanted the xposed framework, so the app can work fully, but then I will simply enjoy what I have, thank you for the answer :)

Hey, didn't want to make a new topic since this is somewhat related for this but is it the case that " act as Apple device" option doesn't work for unrooted Android devices with the L2CAP bug fixed? I have a Pixel 8 running the latest GrapheneOS (Android 17, build number 2026062301) and on the v1.0.0-rc1 pre-release I don't get the option. I also don't get full seamless handoff between my Pixel and my Macbook - my Pixel can connect to them when they're idle on media playback but my macbook can never reconnect unless I manually go and trigger the reconnection. Is there anything I can try here?
