Spanish edition — Español Castellano (v1.2-es)
Undertale NVDA Accessibility — Spanish edition (Español Castellano)
Play Undertale by ear, in Spanish, with the NVDA screen reader.
This is the Spanish companion to the English NVDA accessibility mod. It adds
full screen-reader narration and audio guidance on top of the community
Spanish translation, and it also translates all of the mod's own spoken cues
into Spanish (menus, navigation, battle cues, puzzle skips, and more).
⚠️ You need the Spanish translation first
This mod does not translate the game itself. It layers accessibility onto
the fan translation:
"Undertale Español Castellano" v1.2.1 — by ArceUseless.
Apply that translation to your Undertale first, then run this installer. The
installer checks your version and safely refuses (changing nothing) if the
translation isn't there, so it can't break your game.
All credit for the game's Spanish translation goes to ArceUseless. This
project only adds the accessibility layer and does not include or redistribute
the translation.
Install
- Make sure Undertale is closed.
- Run Instalar.bat. It finds Undertale, backs up your game
(data.win.ES-BACKUP), applies the patch, and copies the helper files. - Set NVDA's voice to Spanish (NVDA menu → Preferences → Settings → Voice),
or the words will be mispronounced. - Start NVDA, launch Undertale from Steam. To undo: Desinstalar.bat.
See TECLAS.txt for the full key list.
Requirements
- Windows, Undertale on Steam (v1.08).
- ArceUseless "Español Castellano" v1.2.1 applied.
- NVDA with a Spanish voice.
Notes
- Tiny download (~800 KB): it ships only our own accessibility changes as an
xdelta patch, never any game or translation files. - UNDERTALE is by Toby Fox; this is an unofficial fan project.
