Shou v0.16.0 adds native, read-only system monitoring and desktop resource summaries on macOS and Windows.

• Eight resource panels cover load, CPU, GPU, memory, battery, system-volume space and disk IO, network IO, and thermals/fans. Real two-minute trends and a searchable process table use the current workspace gradient and shared design values.
• Opt-in macOS menu-bar and Windows notification-area menus show resource readings and the top three CPU processes. Commands open monitoring, pause/resume, disable the summary, and quit normally. Dock and native Windows taskbar Jump List tasks open monitoring directly, including the unpackaged Windows app.
• One serial sampler serves the page and summary. Warmup, pause, sleep, source changes and failures reset rate baselines. Process identity includes start time; CPU uses total machine capacity. History stays in memory, with no process termination, sensor controls or automatic startup.
• Unsupported or unreadable sensors stay unavailable. macOS reads supported fixed AppleSMC sensors; Windows uses supported read-only APIs and does not install a temperature driver. Neither platform fabricates health scores or missing measurements.

Acceptance limit: Windows x64 tray commands passed native UI checks. The Windows 11 ARM64 hosted runner rejects both the app's icon and independent system-icon fixtures, so ARM64 tray commands remain unaccepted there; the monitor page works. • Settings and CLI diagnostics produce a bounded report of capacity, access and record-directory safety. Reports omit personal paths and contents and are never uploaded automatically.
• Space analysis can compare two retained observations of the same folder. Identity, accounting and coverage checks distinguish measurable changes from missing, replaced or incomplete observations. Historical results never authorize deletion.
• Application details can explicitly check a supported public release catalog: six stable applications through Homebrew Cask on macOS, and registered Visual Studio Code x64 stable installations on Windows. Checks show versions, observation time and the official update page; they do not download or install updates.
• The CLI generates static Bash/Zsh completion; Windows also generates PowerShell completion. It does not modify shell profiles. macOS developer discovery prioritizes literal output paths and project markers in wide directories while retaining activity and exact-scope protection.

Shou v0.12.0 improves macOS cleanup and introduces exact-version native packages behind the single @limecloud/shou npm entry.

• Review checked files and directories in Space Analysis and Large Files, then confirm the frozen selection with the primary delete action. The action bar shows selection count and estimated size.
• Permanent removal reports progress and reuses verified directory handles. Replaced roots, new entries and hard-link changes remain blocked. Ordinary permission/I/O failures retain partial results and allow independent selected targets to continue; unknown outcomes and journal failures stop further work.
• Share deterministic design tokens, localized text and project-location resources between independent native platform implementations. Architecture, workflows, sequence diagrams and developer instructions describe platform ownership and verification requirements.
• Install the CLI with npm install --global @limecloud/shou@0.12.0 or npx @limecloud/shou@0.12.0 --help. The launcher selects the matching macOS ARM64 or x64 package at the exact same version, without a compiler or additional binary download.

Shou v0.11.0

Shou v0.11.0 for macOS adds optional built-in AI investigation, application-grouped startup management and expanded cleanup rules.

• Built-in AI investigation is off by default. Configure compatible Responses, Chat Completions or Anthropic Messages connections independently from structured decisions. Local answers and Jev decisions run before disclosed main-model escalation. The native inspector retains scope, questions, cancellation, findings and per-service request/token usage.
• Start an investigation from Smart Cleanup, Space Analysis, Large Files or Rules. Tools read bounded saved-index metadata; they cannot run Shell commands or delete files. Suggestions import as independent disabled rules and reuse preview, explicit enablement, fresh scans and cleanup confirmation. Interrupted investigations retain findings and pending questions; connection removal is recoverable.
• Group macOS startup registrations by verified application identity, filter enabled/disabled/leftover states and inspect registrations inline. Eligible agents, third-party system daemons and native login items have confirmed controls; system daemons require macOS administrator authorization. Unsupported or uncertain registrations remain explicit.
• Expand developer cleanup to Gradle, Flutter/Dart, CMake, Maven, Node.js outputs, Python analysis caches, pnpm and browser-automation runtimes. Add an inspectable built-in rule catalog and targeted rule scans. Project markers, source/credential protection, activity checks and high-risk selection still apply.
• Improve application Trash handling and cross-volume selection. Add reviewed external-agent Skill setup and preserve separate confirmation for cleanup and configuration changes.

Ordinary scans and cleanup remain local and require no model connection. Starting AI investigation sends only the disclosed bounded metadata and user answers to the selected services; file contents are not exposed by these tools. Credentials use macOS Keychain or an explicitly selected authentication source. AI output and confidence never authorize cleanup.

Requires macOS 14 or later. The universal app and independent CLI support Apple Silicon and Intel. Assets include DMG, ZIP, CLI archive, signed update feed and SHA256SUMS. Windows compilation and release packages are paused for reconstruction; v0.11.0 publishes macOS only.

Permanent removal and owner-tool cleanup cannot be undone through Shou. Moving items to Trash does not immediately free disk space. The macOS app is ad-hoc signed and not Apple-notarized; updating may require granting Full Disk Access again. Existing macOS installations can use Check for Updates with signed archive/feed verification.

AI evidence includes synthetic protocol/routing/cancellation checks and selected macOS 15.8.1 Apple Silicon fixture/live-provider observations. It does not establish decision accuracy, broad provider compatibility, macOS 14 hardware, complete accessibility coverage or desktop recovery after restart. Startup mutation checks use isolated fixtures and injected executors; changes to real installed registrations remain a separate acceptance task.

The separately published npm package @limecloud/shou@0.11.0 is an immutable macOS CLI build from commit 7c7dd0b6aa3f09a3cfbfd3a3ea0e32a8b6ef09dc. It predates these release repairs; the repaired GitHub artifacts include the later changes. npm does not permit replacing an existing version.
