New

  • tk detach keeps a Backend Ticket or Epic as local work without changing the Backend object, restoring its local Display ID, preserving Local Fields and relationships, and withdrawing the pending or failed Mutations that needed the Backend identity it removes.
  • tk adopt on a Backend object tk previously detached restores that same Item — its Display ID, Item Class, Local Fields and relationships — instead of creating a second one, and re-queues the relationships the Backend can now address.
  • The Repository Store is copied before any schema migration: tk writes a compacted Store Backup to .git/tk/backups/, keeps the newest ten, and refuses the upgrade with the store untouched if the copy cannot be written.
  • tk sync log, tk show and the tk list sync banner now colour the Mutation state, so the same Mutation reads alike on every surface that names it.

Improved

  • tk sync pulls Backend issues in batched requests scoped to the active working set instead of one read per issue.
  • A Backend close now reaches the Item even while a title or body edit is still pending, rather than waiting behind the unresolved content.
  • tk sync --help now says that skipping a failed close reopens the Item, un-resolves the Dependencies it was blocking, and returns an accepted Ticket to tk next.
  • A malformed Mutation payload is now reported with the Mutation's sequence and type, so the error feeds straight into tk sync log.

Fixed

  • tk start and tk stop on a Backend Ticket no longer queue a status Mutation the Backend cannot accept, and the upgrade cancels any already queued.
  • tk sync --skip on a failed closing Mutation now returns the Item to open, instead of leaving it done while the Backend object stayed open with no sync in either direction to reconcile them.
  • tk sync log now sanitizes the Backend-controlled failure and payload text it prints, so control bytes or escape sequences in a Remote's error message cannot emit colour or move the cursor.
  • tk --help prints the tool description instead of an internal doc comment.
