Dewarr v0.3.2
Dewarr 0.3.2 simplifies downloading a selected release and reuses the clients and library folders already configured during setup.
Downloads and requests
- Show clear source-row feedback with error and success icons, actionable failure reasons, progress, and links to the request or relevant settings.
- Retain release status across refreshes, including queued, downloading, downloaded awaiting import, and imported states; prevent duplicate downloads for active or completed releases.
- Surface selection failures in Requests so unsuccessful attempts are easier to diagnose.
- Automatically use the sole enabled torrent or Usenet client independently. When several clients share a type, select a default in Settings. Soulseek retains its own search/download connection.
- Automatically use the configured library destination for the selected library and media type. A separate destination choice is needed only when multiple folders remain. Verification and access checks still apply, and a fallback client cannot silently choose another final library folder.
Setup and diagnostics
- Improve MAM connection settings, network checks, proxy guidance, and the distinction between network testing and cookie authentication.
- Fix dropdown interaction inside dialogs and improve settings layout and workflow coverage.
- Identify inaccessible download folders with their path and a direct explanation of the client mapping to check.
- Expand mounted-storage and MAM proxy documentation.
Faster development testing
- Add an on-demand, cached, single-architecture
:devimage workflow with a startup, migration, and bundled-UI smoke test. - Stop running the full application suite on every
devpush. Full checks remain on pull requests, stable publishing, and manual runs. - Include an optional dev Compose override and instructions for updating only Dewarr in an existing stack. Dev images do not change
:latestor create GitHub releases.
Upgrade
This patch adds no database migration. Keep the existing database, configuration, and media mounts, and recreate Dewarr with ghcr.io/logabell/dewarr:v0.3.2 or ghcr.io/logabell/dewarr:latest. Stable images support AMD64 and ARM64.
