ForgeEmulation 1.4.0 adds Review game locations, a read-only inspection of stored game locations within a selected folder.

The background review distinguishes present files, present archive containers with unverified members, missing candidates, unverified locations and paths outside the selected folder. Unavailable or incomplete scans suppress missing candidates. It never opens ROM contents or changes availability flags, metadata, play history, saves or core pins.

A readable empty mount cannot be distinguished from an empty folder. Missing candidates are review evidence, never deletion instructions; ROM integrity and ZIP member contents are not certified.

Validation includes independent technical review, 61 Windows tests at 92.43% coverage, strict types, CodeQL and dependency audit. The exact-tag Windows workflow checks packaged startup, all nine generated-cartridge runtime targets and archive layout. Interactive packaged location-review, physical-controller and user-owned-game acceptance remain unverified.
