v1.4.5
News
Enhancements to the app.PackageVersion object that is useful to report your own module's version
information (and why not using other GoApp functionalities):
- Added
Version()which unlikeShort()reports only your module's version number without prefix:1.4.0 - Fixed the
Short()method which was reporting a double prefix, now it is correct:v0.1.2 - Fixed the lack of description which was used in the constructors but not stored.
- Added
Info()which reports your module name, version and description:myapp v0.5.7 An ACME product - Added the
goapp.RegisterModule()function which accepts your module's ownPackageVersioninstance to notify its existance.
Then if you have several modules that use GoApp,
- In your application's support or help page, you can enumerate
goapp.CustomImportsstring slice with all the infos of modules that use GoApp'sPackageVersionthat have registered themselves. NOTE: The register functionality does NOT send any information over the Internet, it is information LOCAL to your application.
