Highlights (since V1.4.0)

  • Windows GUI look & feel enhancement — the headline change of this release
  • SELECT_TYPE_AHEAD processor + case-insensitive type-ahead matching
  • outputSchema field mapping for headless run() / portable runtime + GUI output logging (precedence: outputSchema > HTTP_RESPONSE_KEY > full data_chain)
  • READ_EXCEL file_path expression fix ({input_data} now resolves correctly)
  • WRITE_TO_FILE append mode (mode: "a") — accumulate one line per loop iteration
  • Optimized settings & logging

Docs & Security

  • Documented safe YAML deserialization: PETPSafeLoader = SafeLoader + explicit 4-class whitelist (Execution / Task / Pipeline / Loop). The !!python/object tags are cosmetic and cannot execute arbitrary code at load time.
  • Portable headless runtime guide; CLAUDE.md synced (11 LLM providers, MCP, portable runtime)

Notes

  • Binaries not attached to this release. Windows .exe (matching the GUI enhancement above) must be built on Windows via python build/PETP_build.py.
  • All test suites green at release: nogui_smoke, bg_runtime (21), CLI (14), pytest (173).
