Valkey 9.1.1 for Windows
Built from valkey-io/valkey 9.1.1 with MSYS2 on Windows x64, because upstream publishes no Windows binary. The archive carries MSYS2's runtime libraries; NOTICE-runtime.txt names them and their sources.

Stack Desktop 0.5.0
Stack Desktop 0.5.0
A window and a menu bar app for the groups, sites, services and repositories
Stack serves on your machine.
Installing
- macOS on Apple silicon:
brew install --cask luewell/brew/stack-desktop,
which also installs Stack, or the.dmgbelow. - Linux on arm64 or amd64: the
.deb,.rpmor.AppImagebelow. - Windows on x64: the
-setup.exeor the.msibelow.
The macOS app is signed with Developer ID and notarized by Apple, so macOS
opens it without asking. The Windows installers are not code signed:
SmartScreen warns about an unrecognized app, so choose More info, then Run
anyway.
What's new
- Spanish: the window, the menu bar menu and the app's dialogs speak English
or Spanish, following the system's language or the one chosen in the new
Settings page, which the button at the foot of the group rail opens. What
Stack itself writes, such as warnings, errors and logs, stays as Stack
writes it. - Serve a plain folder: Add a repository offers to serve a folder without a
stack.yamlas a static site, asstack servedoes. - Logs start with the last 500 lines, and Show everything follows a log from
its first line. - Disk lists the logs nothing writes any more, left by sites and services
that are gone, and deletes them with the unused versions. - The Map links the S3 gateway to the repository declaring the service and to
the service itself. - A repository moved or deleted after it was served shows as Missing, with
Forget; serving it from its new place takes the registration over. - Renaming a group from Configuration says that its PostgreSQL and S3 data
goes along on the next Bring up. - Every form checks its fields as you type and names the first problem
beside Review the change. - Doctor offers Set up this machine when a check needs attention and reads
the checks again while it is open; Machine shows the command each button
runs. - On Windows and Linux the window draws its own title bar controls, and on
every platform it opens at 1180×740 and enlarges to at most 1600×1000. - A new look across the app, with the page header, panels, tables, badges and
dialogs built on shadcn-vue.
Requirements
Stack 2.23.0 or later, which the app installs itself. With an older Stack,
Logs starts with the last 200 lines, Disk lists no logs and the Map draws no
link to the S3 gateway.
stack 2.24.0
Stack 2.24.0
Features
- A command can keep the connection variables its caller set instead of
receiving the group's:STACK_NO_CONNECTIONS=1does it for the shims and
stack exec, andstack exec --no-connectionsdoes it for one command. A
script exportingPGHOST,PGUSERand the rest beforepg_dumpnow reaches
the server it names; without the opt-out the group's values still replace
the caller's, as before. The command keeps its pinned toolchains. A value
other than true or false stops the command, and the Docker backend refuses
the opt-out, because its container never receives the caller's variables.
Compatibility
stack.yaml, stack.local.yaml and the daemon API are unchanged.
stack 2.23.0
Stack 2.23.0
Features
- Renaming a group keeps its PostgreSQL and S3 data: the next
stack upof
the repository that contributed it moves the data to the new name, renaming
the group's database and role, explicit databases' roles, and its S3
stores with their policies. Other services start empty under the new name
and keep the old data, whichstack upreports. stack serve [directory]serves a plain folder's files as a static site,
without astack.yamland without writing anything into the folder. It
answers at<name>.test, a group of its own named after the folder
(lowercased, anything else becoming a hyphen) unless--namesays
otherwise, lasts asstack updoes untilstack down, and takes
--always,--openand--json. It refuses a folder holding a
stack.yaml, the home folder, the filesystem root and a folder another
account owns, and a served folder never shares its group with a repository.- The daemon API: a link request's
folderservesdirthat way, and the
repository views instatusand thedownreply carryfolder: truefor
one. stack prunealso deletes the logs nothing writes any more: those of
sites and services that are gone or no longer served. They are listed with
the unused versions and go with the same confirmation; the daemon API lists
them underlogsin/v1/installsand takeslog_namesin/v1/prune.- Site reports name the S3 service a gateway or published bucket site
answers for (service) and the repository declaring it (dir). - Following a log through the daemon API takes
lines=<count>(up to
100000) orlines=all, so a client can show more than the last 200 lines;
without it the stream starts as before.
Fixes
- Moving or deleting a registered repository no longer breaks
stack up, the
shims or the reports: each skips it with a warning, stack statuslists it
as missing, andstack upin its new directory takes the registration over
(keeping--always) when it is the group's only vanished one.stack prune
still waits until it is served again or unlinked. - A configuration edit, preview included, that gives a group with an S3
service a site nameds3is refused as serving refuses it, instead of
being written and then failing atstack up. - A program started without the shell's PATH, such as Stack Desktop opened
from Finder, could not find the installedstack:stack doctorreported
the ports service as unknown, andstack setuptook the paths meant for a
development build. The CLI now also looks whereinstall.sh,install.ps1
and Homebrew put it, never at its own executable.
Compatibility
stack.yaml and stack.local.yaml are unchanged. The daemon API only gains
fields: folder on link requests, repository views and the down reply,
lines on /v1/logs/stream, logs in /v1/installs, log_names with
logs_removed and logs_bytes in /v1/prune, service on site views and
missing on repository views.
After going back to an older daemon, a served folder stays listed as a
repository whose stack.yaml is missing; stack unlink forgets it.
