Guide Apple Login
You can sign in to MowDeck with your Apple ID once you have linked it to your MowDeck user. Your password keeps working, so you can always fall back to it. Your server's operator must have switched Apple on (Sign in with Apple); otherwise you see neither the button nor the settings panel.
- Open MowDeck in your browser (Safari, Chrome, Edge or Firefox) and sign in with your password.
- Go to Einstellungen, section Konto, panel Apple, and choose Mit Apple verknüpfen.
- Enter your current password and choose Weiter zu Apple.
- Sign in with your Apple ID at Apple and confirm. You come back to the settings, which now show "Verknüpft mit Apple". Apple asks for your confirmation the first time.
MowDeck asks Apple for nothing but your sign-in: it does not receive your name or your e-mail address (not even Apple's private relay address) and never links accounts by e-mail. An Apple ID signs in only to the MowDeck user who linked it. One Apple ID can be linked to one MowDeck user.
In the iPhone or Android app the panel tells you to link Apple in the browser; after that the app can sign you in with Apple too.
- Browser: on the sign-in page choose Mit Apple anmelden, sign in at Apple and you are back in MowDeck.
- App: choose Mit Apple anmelden. Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android) opens your MowDeck sign-in page; choose Mit Apple anmelden there, sign in at Apple and confirm In der App weiter. Only confirm when you started the sign-in from the app yourself.
"Anmeldung mit Apple nicht möglich" means that this Apple ID is not linked to a MowDeck user: sign in with your password and link it first.
Einstellungen, Konto, Apple, Verknüpfung lösen. Apple then no longer signs you in; your password does. You can link again at any time. MowDeck cannot remove the permission on Apple's side, so the panel reminds you: to remove it as well, open the settings of your Apple ID, Anmeldung und Sicherheit (Sign-In & Security), Mit Apple anmelden (Sign in with Apple), and stop using MowDeck there.
