• Choose what each part shows. Every module in the settings (CPU, each graphics card, memory, network, disk, motherboard, battery, system) now has its own list of items, each with its own switch: the CPU's chart, temperature, clock, power, chiplets and threads, a graphics card's VRAM, clock, power, fan and so on. Open a module's card from its row to see them. Switch a module off and its items keep their state for when it comes back. Your earlier choices carry over. A module's chart can be switched off too, leaving its figures and a more compact panel.
• Number of columns (Settings → Opening): Auto, as before (the fewest that fit your screen), or 1 to 4, for those who like a wide panel.
• Your own shortcut (Settings → Opening → Key combination): click it and press the keys you want, with Ctrl, Alt or Win.
• Fullscreen games. A game set to "Fullscreen" (not "Borderless") steps out when anything shows over it; that is how Windows works. You choose what may open the panel over such a game: nothing, the shortcut only (the default), or the shortcut and the screen edge. When the panel closes, the game comes back by itself. Borderless games are not affected: the panel shows over them as always.

Fixed

• A crash in Direct2D when a chart had a single reading between two gaps, most often right after a fullscreen game stepped out.
• The panel no longer closes at once when a fullscreen game steps out and the display mode changes back.
• The panel could stop answering the shortcut and clicks until the mouse was moved. It no longer waits on the desktop to redraw.
• The open panel keeps its shape: a reading the machine shows for the first time joins only where it fits, the rest at the next opening.
• Readings that could not be taken (CPU, network, disk, each processor thread, each GPU engine and each program's GPU use, as after waking from sleep) show "—" instead of 0.
• A program's CPU use counts processors added while Glance runs.
• The tray tooltip: "GPU 1: 1%" no longer reads as "GPU 11%".

Improved

• The settings' module cards look like Windows 11's own, and open and close smoothly.

修复

• 修复 Direct2D 崩溃：图表中两段空白之间只剩一个读数时会崩溃，全屏游戏切出的那一刻最容易遇到。
• 全屏游戏切出、显示模式变回来时，面板不再一闪就收起。
• 面板偶尔会对快捷键和点击没有反应，要动一下鼠标才恢复。现在不会再等桌面重绘。
• 面板打开期间形状保持不变：第一次读到的项目只在放得下时加入，放不下的等下次打开再显示。

Fixed

• The panel keeps its shape from one opening to the next. Some readings come and go with what the hardware is doing (an idle graphics chip stopping its clock, a fan stopping, a sensor missing a read, the battery not answering for a moment), and each one used to add or remove a row, which could switch the panel between two and three columns. Anything read in the last few minutes now keeps its place and shows "—" while it is missing, and charts break there instead of dropping to zero. Thanks to the Xiaohongshu user who sent a video of it.
• A virtual display's adapter (Parsec, game-streaming tools and the like) no longer shows up as a second, idle copy of your graphics card.

Improved

• Updates also come from a mirror on Gitee, for when GitHub can't be reached. Glance uses whichever answers, and still runs only an installer that is signed like itself and is the version it was announced as. A check that gets no answer is retried within the hour instead of the next day.
• The settings show which version you have (under Check for updates), and glance.exe carries its version in its file properties.
• If the open panel ever changes shape, Glance notes it in its log, which Copy diagnostics includes.

• The panel no longer changes its proportions while it is open. Some readings come and go (a graphics card's fan stopping and starting, a sensor missed now and then), and the panel laid itself out afresh each time; on a scaled screen this could switch it between column counts or zooms under the pointer. It now keeps the shape it opened with: the same columns, and each part only ever growing while it is up. Thanks to the Xiaohongshu user who reported it.

Only the latest 200 lines are kept, a line that repeats is counted rather than written again, and any user's folder in a path is written <user>. Settings → Diagnostics now includes the latest lines; uninstalling removes the log with the settings.

• Updates: Glance asks GitHub once a day whether a new version is out (Settings → System → Check for updates, on unless you turn it off; this is the only network access Glance makes). When one is, the tray says so and the settings offer it; Glance downloads the installer and runs it only if it is signed by the same publisher as the Glance you have.
• Ctrl+Alt+G opens the panel at the pointer and closes it again (Settings → Opening).
• Pin: the pin in the panel's bottom bar keeps it open while you work elsewhere.
• Tray tooltip: hovering over the tray icon shows the CPU, graphics and memory in brief.
• Heat alert (off by default; Settings → Data): a tray warning when the CPU or a graphics card stays at the temperature alert for 30 seconds.

• "Start with Windows" could not be turned on when Glance was not in Program Files, and the settings did not say why. Glance starts elevated without asking only from where no ordinary program can change it, and the installer now installs only there: Program Files, or a new folder at a drive's root such as D:\Glance, which it creates changeable by administrators only. A folder inside one your account owns (such as D:\App\Glance), an existing folder of other things, or a link is refused with the reason, and left as it was.

First release.

Push the pointer against the edge of the screen and a panel slides out with CPU, GPU, memory, network, disk, process, storage and motherboard readings; move away and it slides back. Three looks (chart paper, frosted glass, Windows 11), light or dark, Chinese or English.

Install: run Glance_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe (Windows 10/11, x64). The first start asks for administrator rights once and installs the signed PawnIO driver for temperatures, power and fans; after that Glance starts without asking. Right-click the tray icon, or start Glance again, for the settings (turn on "Start with Windows" there). Uninstalling removes Glance, its scheduled tasks and its settings, and asks whether to remove PawnIO too.

Sensors: AMD Ryzen (Zen and later) and Intel Core CPUs; ITE and Nuvoton motherboard chips; DDR4 and DDR5 memory temperatures; NVMe/SATA drive temperatures; GPUs through Windows. Tried on real hardware so far: AMD Ryzen 9 9950X, ITE IT8689E, DDR5. Intel and Nuvoton support is written to Intel's and Nuvoton's documentation but untested — reports from those machines are welcome. On laptops, fan speeds and board temperatures (kept by the laptop's embedded controller) are not shown.

**安装：**运行 Glance_0.1.0_x64-setup.exe（Windows 10/11，x64）。第一次启动会请求一次管理员权限，并安装有签名的 PawnIO 驱动来读取温度、功耗和风扇；之后启动不再询问。右键托盘图标（或再次启动 Glance）打开设置，可在其中开启“开机启动”。卸载会删除 Glance、它的计划任务和设置，并询问是否一并卸载 PawnIO。

**传感器：**AMD Ryzen（Zen 及以后）与 Intel Core 处理器；ITE 与 Nuvoton 主板芯片；DDR4/DDR5 内存温度；NVMe/SATA 硬盘温度；GPU 读数来自 Windows。目前在真机上验证过：AMD Ryzen 9 9950X、ITE IT8689E、DDR5。Intel 与 Nuvoton 按官方文档实现，尚未实机测试，欢迎反馈。笔记本上的风扇转速和主板温度由笔记本自己的嵌入式控制器管理，暂不显示。
