New

  • Mention people as you type. Type @ to open a picker at the cursor, choose a group member by saved or WhatsApp name, and see incoming typing indicators. By @leandromqrs.
  • Forward messages to several chats. Select messages, then choose up to five destinations. Albums stay together, and messages arrive in destination order. By @leandromqrs.
  • Share contacts in chats. Pick a saved WhatsApp contact or import a .vcf, preview it, then send. Received cards show names and numbers, with actions to copy a number, add the contact, or message an explicitly identified WhatsApp contact. By @leandromqrs.
  • Read and copy code more easily. Inline code and code blocks have a visible monospace style; double-click to select and copy a whole code span. By @leandromqrs.

Fixed

  • Keep your place while reading older messages. New messages no longer jump the transcript to the bottom; a button returns to recent messages. By @leandromqrs.
  • See when older messages are loading. The history button shows an accessible spinner without dimming. By @leandromqrs.
  • Keep account and message state consistent during background work. Stale history, download, and sync results cannot overwrite newer state, and logout cleanup survives interruptions. By @leandromqrs.
