A new minor update for Beacon just dropped. Version 1.2.2 is now available!
✨ New
Disk activity is now charted per drive, with a dropdown to choose one on a
machine that has more than one.
The Volumes panel groups each filesystem under the drive it sits on, together
with that drive's size, type and temperature.
The overview list has GPU and Battery columns.
🐛 Fixed
Windows devices now show Disk activity, which never appeared on them before.
Onboard graphics now report the memory they have borrowed from the system,
where the GPU panel showed them using none at all.
An alert now counts up while it is active and says how long it ran for once it
is resolved, instead of freezing the duration at the moment it fired.
The overview list scrolls sideways on a narrower screen instead of dropping
columns off the right with no way to reach them, and the button that opens a
device's charts stays in reach while you scroll.
A device's Disk tile counted firmware partitions, and counted a filesystem
mounted at two paths twice, which made a machine look fuller than it is.
🔄 Changed
Firmware and other system filesystems are left out of the Volumes panel. A
switch in the device's Panels settings brings them back.
