XFly 0.1.3

Stream your own game

The library now has a Stream your own game shelf — the same catalogue xbox.com
shows, thousands of titles. Every shelf offers Show all, which opens the whole
collection as a grid; back out with B. Show all is fast now — it fills as it
loads instead of sitting blank, and reopening one is instant.

It tells you when a game won't start

  • Don't own it? XFly says so before it ever tries to launch, instead of hanging
    on the loading screen.
  • Not available on cloud? Some Game Pass games (like theHunter: Call of the Wild)
aren't supported on Xbox Cloud Gaming at all. XFly now recognises that and tells
    you, rather than getting stuck.
  • Quit actually quits — the cloud session ends instead of being left running.

Search with a controller

Press the search box and an on-screen keyboard comes up — but only on a controller.
With a keyboard plugged in you just type; Backspace and Enter behave.

A menu inside the game

View + Menu on the pad (or F9) while you play: your account, the game you're
in, and the way out.

Also

  • Keyboard-and-mouse games are badged on the card
  • A "Leaving soon" shelf for games about to leave Game Pass
  • Loading screens estimate the wait
  • No Xbox flash or cookie bar between pressing play and the game
  • Quit XFly moved to the home screen; everything reachable with a controller

Download: XFly-Setup-0.1.3.exe (installer) or XFly-0.1.3-portable.exe (single
file). Both update themselves in the background.

Windows warns on first run — XFly isn't code-signed. Click More info, then Run
anyway
. Both binaries are built by GitHub Actions from the source in this repository;
nothing is uploaded by hand.

Requires Windows 10/11 and an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription.
