Frame App 7 – Tech Preview Increment 1 – build: 7.0.27

  1. Added Frame Platform logo and fixed About dialog with new company name and EULA

  2. Upgraded to Electron framework version 25.1.0

  3. Added administrator configurations on all platforms Win/Lin/Mac for: STARTUP_URL, CHECK_FOR_UPDATES_ON_STARTUP, ENABLE_CAMERA and ENABLE_MICROPHONE

  4. Added command line arguments: --startup-url (string), --check-for-updates-on-startup (ON/OFF), --enable-camera (ON/OFF) and --enable-microphone (ON/OFF)
    Example usage:
    Frame.exe -- --startup-url="https://console.nutanix.com/" --check-for-updates-on-startup=off --enable-camera=on --enable-microphone=on
    IMPORTANT NOTE: each command line arguments needs to have a value! This is different from Frame App 6. This was introduced so an administrator can also force an OFF value.

  5. Administrator configurations have higher precedence than command line arguments.

  6. At the UX preferences dialog the end user can only change properties which are not specified neither by administrator not by command line startup arguments

  7. Reset button on UX preferences dialog improved to reset values only at the dialog, so the end user can chose to Save such configuration or to Cancel the entire operation
