Nothing in the editor responds. Is it broken?

Pick a track first. Until then, only Open Guide and Exit work.

I edited one repeat and they all changed.

A repeat is a live link, not a copy. Editing the source changes every replay. See Range Selection and Editing.

Why can't I scroll past the end of my chart?

The editable timeline stops a little past the chart's end. Obstacles beyond that line still exist and still play. The status area tells you how many. See The Editor Screen.

I mirrored a range and some obstacles did not move.

Some obstacles do not change. The editor reports how many. Same for Rotate 90°.

Do I have to chart all four difficulties?

No. Leave every obstacle at the default and all four levels play the same chart. Use Min difficulty and Max difficulty only when you want the levels to differ. See Difficulty.

Can I change the BPM, or the song's timing?

Not in the current version. Timing comes with the track.

Will I lose work if I close the tool?

The app supports auto-save to keep your draft. However, it is recommended to always export your chart at important milestones.

What does Restart do?

It re-opens the chart selector for the song already loaded. You can start from a draft, an official chart, a blank one, or a file. It does not wipe anything by itself.
