Term	Meaning
Beat	One step of the music grid.
Beat grid	The editor's list of every beat in the song. Click a beat to select it.
Chart	Obstacles and ranges for one track. What you export.
Track	The song. Pick one before the editor does anything.
Obstacle	A hazard placed on a beat. Six kinds — see Adding Obstacles.
Template	A multi-obstacle pattern, listed with a T- prefix in the Type dropdown.
Range	A selected span of beats.
Fever Time	A marked section where the grid opens up and scoring is boosted.
Rush Drive	A multi-beat section cleared by mashing keys to fill a counter.
Charge Drive	A multi-beat section cleared by holding a key and releasing it on the closing beat.
Countdown	The beats of warning shown before an obstacle appears.
Repeat	A live link that replays one span of beats at another beat. Not a copy.
Ghost	A read-only obstacle created by a repeat. Marked ↻.
Difficulty level	One of 1–4. Every chart carries all four; each obstacle says which it appears at.
Draft	The working copy of your chart, kept automatically while you edit.
Export	Sending the finished chart out of the editor.
