New commands
setup— generate a Zed / JetBrains agent config with the absolute
binary path filled in.--writeinserts only the newagent_serversentry
viajsonc-parser, preserving the file's existing indentation and comments
(no whole-file reflow). Defaults to Claude Code; wraps any agent via
setup --editor <ed> -- <command>.agents— list the built-in agent shortcuts straight from the registry
(--jsonfor machines).
MCP — now 13 read-only tools
generate_editor_config— the MCP twin ofsetup: returns the config
block to apply (read-only; the connecting agent writes it).list_agent_shortcuts— the MCP twin ofagents.
Agents
- JetBrains Junie verified — full WebStorm 2026.1.2 turn captured; added as
thejunieregistry shortcut (junie --acp=true).
Docs
- Config recipes and the README Quickstart lead with
setup; the
supported-agents section now spells out how to run any agent — verified or
not — viasetup --editor <ed> -- <launch command>.
v0.5.0
v0.4.0 — Playhead playback
Reworked session playback, plus new docs and the agent verification sweep.
Playback (recorded / imported sessions)
- Every frame is on screen from the start; a left-rail playhead marks the current position. Frames are no longer hidden until "played".
- Play / Pause / Replay; the scrubber starts at 0; 0.5×–8× speed.
- The timeline follows the playhead while playing (wheel to take over).
- Reload restores position from the URL: scrolls to the selected frame (
seq) or the playhead (play); a finished playhead resets to the start.seqwins overplay. - Recorded and imported sessions no longer auto-jump to the bottom on open.
- Playground deep links (
?url=…&seq=…&play=…) restore scroll position.
Docs & ecosystem
docs/session-anatomy.md: how to read a capture (handshake → prompt turn → cancellation), grounded in a real WebStorm ↔ claude-agent-acp session.- Agent verification sweep across 13 ACP agents; README "Supported editors & agents" tables with per-row status and evidence links;
fixtures/drive-full-turn.mjslive smoke driver.
v0.3.0 — Security & quality hardening
Security and quality hardening.
diffandsession-inforedact auth headers and proxy tokens by default; pass--rawto opt out.- The HTTP API and the
/replay/:idWebSocket validate theHostheader (DNS-rebinding protection); a custom--hostbind is allowlisted explicitly. - Session listing filters (
--client,--imported) run in SQL instead of post-filtering.
v0.2.1
Fixed
- Homebrew install no longer ships a broken
better-sqlite3binding. - CLI prints actionable remediation when the native binding fails to load.
Added
- CI smoke-tests the publishable tarball on linux/macOS/Windows × Node 22/24.
See CHANGELOG.md.
v0.2.0 — Safe-by-default sharing
Redact auth tokens by default across export/UI/MCP + ship static play…
v0.1.0 — initial release
First public release.
A transparent stdio proxy between editor (Zed, JetBrains, Neovim) and ACP agent (Claude Code, Codex, Goose) that captures every JSON-RPC frame, persists sessions to SQLite, and exposes them through a web inspector, a CLI, and a read-only MCP server.
What's in v0.1.0
- Transparent proxy with concurrent capture discovery
- Web inspector: timeline, spec-aware JSON tree, stream clustering
- Spec validation against the official ACP schema (CLI exits non-zero on violations)
- Performance dashboard: per-method p50/p99/max, waterfall, auto-detected insights
- Multi-session diff: frames, metadata, per-method p99 deltas
- Cross-session search, replay, export/import
- Mock primitives for headless CI (
mock-agent,mock-editor) - Read-only MCP server with 11 tools
