EVSwipe v3.0.1

Manual, offline installation. This build embeds no auto-updater and
contacts no server: the stable flavor has neither the updater code nor the
INTERNET permission.

Install

Copy the APK to a USB stick, open the car's Files app and tap it. Then set it
as the default home from Android settings.

Note

Signed with the EVSuite platform key. If you are coming from a build signed
with the old author key, uninstall the previous version first — Android refuses
an in-place update across a key change.

• The overlay service starts on Android 14. A foreground service must declare a type
  since API 34, and this one declared none: the platform refuses such a service outright, so
  the swipe strips and the back button never appeared. It now runs as specialUse — what it
  actually is, an overlay owner and nothing else — and the lint warning that had been
  suppressed rather than answered is gone with it.
• The service notification is visible again. POST_NOTIFICATIONS was never declared, so
  from Android 13 on the only sign the overlay was running was dropped silently. It is asked
  for once the overlay and accessibility permissions are in place, and refusing it costs the
  notification and nothing else.
