Well it's here. Better late then never. I hope there are still Microsoft 365 users left...
0.12.0 has extensive changes to its codebase.

OAuth

In the /scripts/ folder you will find "EmailReporting Microsoft Entra App.ps1" It will help to set up the application in Entra and set all the necessary permissions.

What's Changed

• Officially drop support for MantisBT 1.3.x. Theoretically it might still work. But were not testing anymore so thought it would be safer to drop support.
• PHP requirement change: minimum PHP required 8.1
• Improve charset conversion. Iconv is used as fallback
• Composer migration: PEAR, Auth_SASL, Net_IMAP, Net_POP3, Net_Socket, Mail_mimeDecode, Markdownify (ERP version), EmailReplyParser
• Changed simple_html_dom to php-core/simplehtmldom (Composer)
• TNEF decoder (winmail.dat) support using QualityUnit/TNEFDecoder
• Support for OAuth authentication with Microsoft and Google. One simple line but oh so much code to make it work.
• Changed set_time_limit from infinite to 5 minutes per mailbox
• IMAP no longer supports the auth_method USER. It never actually did but it had a fallback scenario. In our attempts to improve error handling (sometimes " , " was returned instead of something usefull) IMAP now properly gives an error when the auth_method is not supported. EmailReporting automatically migrates all IMAP mailboxes from USER to PLAIN if necessary.

Because of the Composer migration, EmailReporting no longer sees the improvements in those packages. But they have had significant changes as well.

• simple_html_dom did not work anymore in recent PHP versions apparently. Probably no one noticed because we depended more on Markdownify and markdown these days.
• The PEAR packages have had changes as well. Please check the repositories below if you are interested in the changes.
