Antron

Chiron — Χείρων — was the centaur they sent their children to be taught by. Where the rest of his kin were violent and drunk, he taught medicine, music, astronomy and the honest arts; Achilles, Jason and Asclepius were all raised by him. He did it in a cave on Mount Pelion, and the Greek for that cave is ἄντρον, antron.

Chiron is the teacher. Antron is the cave he taught in.

Chiron is a working application. It drafts practice questions for hard certification exams from public-domain source texts, a human reads every one against the passage it came from before it can be served, and learners drill the approved bank with the citation in front of them.

Antron is where the method is set out in the open: what a question carries, how it is classified, what is checked before it ships, and what the application stores about the people who use it.

The short version

Machine-generated exam questions have an obvious failure mode. A language model will produce a fluent, plausible, confidently wrong question all day, and volume makes that worse rather than better. Chiron's answer is not "a better model." It is a stack of constraints, each closing a specific failure:

Constraint The failure it closes
Public-domain sources only No question rests on material that cannot be cited or checked
Every question grounded in a verbatim passage The source text is the authority, not the model's assertion
A declared pedagogical goal before drafting Questions that test nothing in particular never get written
Three-way cognitive classification "This is mere recall" becomes data rather than opinion
Wrong answers classified too A wrong answer names a misconception instead of being merely wrong
A human approves every question Nothing reaches a learner on a machine's say-so

None of those alone is sufficient. Can You Trust These Questions? sets out what the stack does and does not establish, including what has never been measured.

The exams

Domain Prepares you for How its questions are made
Patent Agent The USPTO patent bar exam Generated from the MPEP and related public sources, then curated
AIGP The IAPP AI Governance Professional certification Generated from the IAPP-specified public frameworks, then curated
Amateur Radio The FCC Technician / General / Amateur Extra licences Loaded verbatim from the public NCVEC question pools — no generation

Where to go next

Chiron is also a proof point: it was built end to end by AssemblyZero, an AI-native software factory. It is real, working software produced by that factory.
