What changed

• Fixes the launcher selector: Icon designs 0–4 now have five visibly different geometries instead of repeated copies.
• Keeps icon design and colour scheme independent, so any design can use any of the five retained palettes; 3/3 remains the default and each selector retains its reset control.
• Replaces the old updater controls with a clearer Liminal-aligned update centre: state-aware actions, installed/build/target/last-checked details, a real six-hour automatic-check preference, current changelog access, and a releases link.
• Hardens release URL validation while preserving the existing exact-package, version, SHA-256 and signing-certificate checks.

This installs over Magic Capsule 2.1.1 as a normal in-place update for io.massdex.magiccapsule. Android's package installer still requires your confirmation.

Applies the selected glass black-and-purple launcher icon across adaptive, round and legacy launcher surfaces. Existing Magic Capsule 2.x installations update in place. The first 2.x install remains a manual side-by-side transition from Magic Capsule 1.x.

Magic Capsule v2.0.0

Magic Capsule 2 moves to the permanent Android identity io.massdex.magiccapsule with a distinct signing certificate.

This is a one-time manual, side-by-side installation rather than an in-place update from com.yuval.magiccapsule. Export from 1.x, install 2.0.0, import the JSON backup, re-grant Android permissions and notification-listener access, reselect custom images where required, and keep 1.x until acceptance is complete.

Future 2.x updates remain within the new package and signer. The legacy 1.x source tags, APKs and signing identity remain preserved for rollback/export recovery.

Magic Capsule 1.4.1

GitHub owner migration and updater-trust hardening.

• Migrates the private-source and public binary-feed references to the canonical massdex GitHub account.
• Restricts the updater's API, release page, manifest and APK URLs to the exact massdex/magic-capsule-releases repository.
• Allows GitHub's asset CDN only as the final response target of an already trusted GitHub release URL.
• Preserves the existing Android package identity and Magic Capsule signing certificate.

Locally verified with the signing-boundary check, unit tests, release lint, R8, signed release assembly, package/version inspection and APK signature verification.
