Linux build 2. The network protocol stays 32. Classic games can still include a mac 36 player.

A hardcore lobby has a Settings row. It holds split screen, your view, and the map timer voice. Timer voice stays on unless you turn it off. Those choices stay on this machine.

Shared map hashes use the CoreCE label, so they do not match hashes from a mac 36 build.

This build looks for a newer Linux release on this repository. It does not install a Mac release.

Unpack the zip and run halo. On the first start, choose your own Xbox disc image.
