First packaged release of MATLAB Support for Zarr files.

Install: download MATLAB_Support_for_Zarr_Files.mltbx below and open it, then run
configureZarrPythonEnvironment once to install the required Python packages (tensorstore, numpy).

  • Read and write Zarr v2 arrays and metadata, from local storage and Amazon S3.
  • Partial reads via Start/Stride/Count.
  • zarrcreate, zarrwrite, zarrread, zarrinfo, zarrwriteatt, configureZarrPythonEnvironment.
  • Requires MATLAB R2024a or newer and a MATLAB-compatible Python 3.10+.

Known limitations: Zarr v3 is detected by zarrinfo but not readable or writable. Zarr v3 support
is planned for 1.0. The toolbox cannot provision Python packages at install time.
