Version 2.1 is a stability release — bug fixes and polish for scene loading, sends, DCA assignment, mobile use, and desk connectivity.

At a glance

Stays in sync with the desk

MMC is more efficient when the network is busy, you jump between buses quickly, or you leave the app on your phone and come back.

Scene load and save

Loading a saved scene should feel predictable:

  • One progress dialog for Fresh Start and scene loads — with a stable time estimate, not a second mystery waiting phase.
  • App scenes wait for the desk to catch up before applying, so what you saved is what you get.

Sends and reception

Routing behaves more like you expect:

  • Stereo-linked routes show clear combined labels (e.g. Aux 1 & 2) on From/To buttons.
  • Secondary buses handle stereo link more naturally when you turn a send on.

Bus view improvements

General bar

Polarity and stereo link moved out of the Input tab and into the general bar — left of the level fader. Aux buses can link L+R without hunting through tabs, and the essentials stay visible on every tab.

Navigation and shortcuts

  • Tab history — browser back and forward work on the bus screen, and the app remembers your last processing tab (EQ, Gate, Compressor) when you move between buses.
  • Reception shortcuts — on tablets and wider screens, reception rows offer quick links to Input, EQ, Compressor, and Gate on the source bus.
  • Pan order — pan controls in Reception follow a consistent left-to-right order.

Layout and polish

Lists and pages

  • Single-column lists on wide screens — reception, sends, and bus lists use the full width of the screen instead of squeezing into two narrow columns.
  • Unified list layout — vault, scenes, automix, and other lists share the same spacing, footer, and filter bar.
  • Empty states — a search with no matches or a page that does not exist shows something helpful instead of an empty screen.
  • Scene list titles — the header distinguishes device scenes (mixer slots) from app scenes (vault-backed) at a glance.
  • Automix respects UI scale — bus labels in the automix list follow your text size setting.
  • Meter slider readout — the numeric dB value on faders appears and hides instantly when you drag or hover, without a distracting animation.

Mobile

  • Android safe areas — menus and fixed headers respect the status bar and navigation bar; nothing hides under system chrome.
  • iOS layout fixes — dropdowns, headers, and spacing behave better on iPhone and iPad.

Forms and controls

  • Unified form controls — settings and rename dialogs look and feel like the rest of the mixer UI.
  • Inline validation — required fields (scene name, IP, port, and others) show clear errors in red when something is missing.
  • Header menus — title dropdowns no longer clip awkwardly on hover.
