Releases: matt-rgx/Glossarr

v1.3.0

Choose a tag to compare

@matt-rgx matt-rgx released this 13 Mar 13:02

What's New

  • Anime support — Glossarr now auto-detects anime shows and can route them through dedicated sources:
    AniList and/or Kitsu. Both are free and require no API key.
  • New variables: ANIME_PRIMARY_SOURCE, ANIME_SECONDARY_SOURCE, ANIME_LANGUAGE
  • For any language not supported by AniList/Kitsu (e.g. French), Glossarr automatically falls back to TVDB/TMDB — then
    to AniList/Kitsu in English as a last resort, so Skyhook is never used for detected anime.
  • The anime mapping is loaded at startup and refreshed on container restart.

Credits

Anime detection is powered by Fribb/anime-lists, a community-maintained
project that maps TVDB IDs to AniList, Kitsu, AniDB, MAL and more. Many thanks to its contributors.
