Dream Journal

Nights filled by many dreams
Intertwined fragmented and surreal streams
Some I thought I can recall
Moments later to lose its faintest allure
Are they images of unconsciousness
Or messages from superconsciousness
For old code breaks and new code blends
Applying patches to a game that never ends
Maybe to keep a simple dream journal
Using the unused jotter books
Was once for the day
And now for the night
