- QualityLayer never refuses work because of its version. A copy that
qualitylayer.dev holds no workflow texts for, because it was installed
before its release finished or was never released, now gets the nearest
texts the site has and switches to its own within minutes of their
release. Offline, a copy runs on the texts it still holds from the
release before. Before this, such a copy stopped with "this release is
no longer served" and asked for an update that could not help. - While qualitylayer.dev is down, QualityLayer keeps working at full speed.
A machine that holds its licence and texts waits at most five seconds for
the site, then leaves it alone for half an hour, instead of waiting up to
a minute on every command. A licence that needs re-registering while the
licence server is down keeps running on the one it holds. - Research's instructions put What the goal puts at risk where the
check expects it, right after Findings, soqualitylayer next doneno
longer refuses a document written as told. - Research helpers save their own report under the task before they end,
so the agent no longer digs it out of a transcript. qualitylayer question morepasses over the whole-question fields an
agent sends along (id, recommended, points) instead of refusing them, and
every instruction now describes the same command.- A Plan's Summary may name a new script by the command that runs it
(bun scripts/bench.ts). - A failed check lists warnings apart from the errors that block, in text
and in--json. - An engineering decision the agent settled no longer reads "Your call:
waits for your review"; only a decision left to the person does. - An experiment that could change a Plan's approach, such as a benchmark
between two runtimes, runs before the Plan is approved, never as a build
slice. - A reviewer's finding that QualityLayer copies into a Plan no longer fails
the Plan's path check; it is QualityLayer's text, not the author's. - The Outline's checks no longer flag a type and a function that differ only
in case when both exist in the code, an environment variable beside a
parameter of the same name, or a name inside a code block. They also stop
flagging the task's own records and runtime files outside the repository. - A Plan's Oracle is one sentence on its own line. An Oracle that runs on is
refused, so the Outline never carries one cut off after its colon. - A planning session that was also asked to build starts the build itself
once the Outline is done, instead of sending you to a fresh session. - When two builds share one checkout,
qualitylayer commit slicerefuses a
file the other build changed and has not committed, naming the file and
the other task, instead of committing that build's half-done edits.
