IRONCLAD v1.2
Naval combat for the MSX2. Seven rulesets, from a gentle kids' mode to salvo duels of pure deduction, with best-of-N match play.
What is new since v1.1
- It boots in about half the time. Power-on to the first placement prompt falls from 84 seconds to 48.
- ANKA has a submarine. The kids' ruleset gains a three-square submarine: six ships and 24 squares.
- The game no longer writes to the disk.
- The match score updates the moment a game ends, rather than staying stale under the banner announcing it.
- More free memory in every ruleset, which is what the out-of-memory in long salvo games came down to.
- New screenshots, and a pass over the manual and the README.
