This wiki documents the development and strategy behind our smart QR-based order and table management platform, built for restaurants, cafés, and bars.

  • Role-based permissions: Owner, Manager, Staff, Guest
  • Custom QR code generation and rotation

Multi-tenancy Each business is isolated. Staff, tables, and data are scoped per place.
Guest Session JWT-linked table session. Temporary identity with limited access.
Table Salt Rotating QR-safe token (GUID) uniquely tied to a table. Prevents stale access.
ServiceResult Uniform response wrapper for logic without exceptions. Easier to test and map.
Redis Pub/Sub Backbone for reactive updates: orders, table status, notifications.
SignalR Real-time communication from backend → staff UI. Connected via Redis.
EF Core + Enums PostgreSQL enum support for clean model definition and validation.
