Upstream v0.15.2

Improvements

  • a Settings ▸ Interface toggle for the per-workspace add-session + (the glyph revealed on hovering a workspace row), so it can be hidden like the other chrome elements umputun#252 @umputun
  • idle auto-follow now shows each waiting block once instead of repeatedly pulling you back to the same blocked session; a session re-arms only when it leaves blocked and blocks again umputun#251 @umputun
  • an opt-in --no-select flag on agtermctl session new that creates a session in the background without selecting or focusing it, leaving the current selection and focus in place umputun#250 @umputun

Bug Fixes

  • custom-command key chords now fire from a window that has drained to zero sessions (for example after an SSH session disconnects) instead of going dead umputun#249 @umputun

Linux

Dashboard stability fix

  • Fixed empty Dashboard cells by mirroring each live terminal without reparenting its GTK OpenGL surface.
  • Fixed terminal rendering and keyboard input after closing Dashboard.
  • Preserved the active pane, scratch terminal, and full-overlay state across Dashboard transitions.

Users of earlier Linux v0.15.2 builds should upgrade if opening Dashboard leaves terminals blank or non-interactive.

Compatible with Ubuntu 24.04 / Debian 13 or newer and modern Fedora systems with glibc 2.39 or newer.
All artifacts are x86_64; the AppImage additionally bundles GTK4 and libadwaita.

Linux x86_64 builds of agterm linux-v0.15.2+linux.2.

Available formats:

  • AppImage: bundles GTK4, libadwaita, the Swift runtime, libghostty, and Ghostty resources.
  • DEB: Ubuntu 24.04 / Debian 13 or newer compatible systems.
  • RPM: modern Fedora-compatible systems with glibc 2.39 or newer.
  • tar.gz: relocatable payload for compatible modern distributions with GTK4 and libadwaita installed.
