Adds compatibility with Pokemon Gold (and PC Followers ig)
Again, pretty self explanatory. Uses the same workaround for saving options in the mod menu as Kanto Reforged, so it might break in future updates. Also it now works with poke pc followers again (even if I personally think it looks kinda ugly having two sprite sets used at the same time).
Adds support to Gen 2 sprites for certain mods
As per user requests, the other 100 pokémon from gen 2 have been added, with support for (at least that I know) three other mods that add those pokémon to gen1recomp, those being: Kanto Reforged, Kanto Ascendant and Crystal 251.
Atempt hotfix for the mod not working for certain people
Some people have claimed the mod causes no changes in the last release, this in attempt to fix that. If the problem persists please be patient and hit me up on the discord/make an issue request with detailed information, including your platform, gen1recomp version, mod version, which game you are playing, if there are any error logs in the mods tab, and be specific on what the issue itself is.
Fixed Original mode not using the proper colors from its pallete
It is what it is.
MEWMON-less, Likely Definitive Release with 3 variants
Looking into the Followers EX mod, I realized they also managed to have unique menu icons without compromising the color palletes by using a monkey-patch and pulling the overworld sprites instead of relying on the actual menu icon's coding. Thanks to that, I was also able to implement said feature, as well as two color variants:
1 - Basic, patchless, with no changes/fixes: is necessary for those who use other color filters beside Advanced and SGB.
2 - GBC Red color: works similarly to how the previous version used to except without having to change the MEWMON color pallete, with the side-effect that it now is less compatible with some mods like the DexNav, making the sprites quite colorless.
3 - Unique color palletes: each pokémon now has their very own pallete, without having to rely on a shared one; has a similar side-effect to the previous variant, albeit to a smaller degree.
Color assignment correction
Fixed the GBC color pallete being applied to every pokémon pallete.
Stable release with pallete change
You can select whether to change the icon pallete colors to the GBC standard (red, lighter red and black), or not. Do keep it mind that turning it on will result in some sprites changing colors as well, as they are hardcoded to share the same color pallete as Mew.
