refactor(ui): remove StatusSurface scrim behind status-colored chips#6367
Merged
Conversation
Drops the translucent dark pill that backed SNR/RSSI, signal quality, signed-shield, key-status, and online last-heard chips, rendering the status-colored content directly on the card/bubble surface instead. Introduced in #5985. Co-Authored-By: Claude Fable 5 <noreply@anthropic.com>

Why
The translucent dark scrim pill (
StatusSurface, added in #5985) that backed status-colored chips reads as visual noise on node cards and message bubbles. This removes it entirely, letting SNR/RSSI, signal quality, the signed shield, key-status icons, and the online last-heard timestamp render directly on the surface underneath in their true token colors.🧹 Cleanup
StatusSurface/StatusScrimandStatusSurfaceTest(the scrim-contrast AA test;ColorContrastTestfor the tokens themselves is unaffected)NodeItem: signal pill becomes a plain full-widthRow;StatusAwareLastHeardcollapses to a single tint-switchedLastHeardInfo;NodeSecurityIconsbecomes a plainRowNodeItemCompact: unwrap the signal-quality chipMessageItem: unwrap the signed-verified shield and the SNR/RSSI pairTesting Performed
