The placement preview uses the finished entity's bounds and the player's facing.
- The targeted support block must have a sturdy top face.
- Sturdy blocks must support at least 40% of the result footprint.
- The entity bounds must be free of world collision and other unfinished machines.
- The target and sampled points under the result footprint must contain water.
- The entity bounds must be free of collision and other unfinished machines.
- The blueprint must specify
preview_entity.
The real result entity is placed immediately in an unfinished state. Axiomata does not swap a separate construction-site entity for the result at completion.
Stages follow the order in the blueprint JSON.
- The result decides whether a hammer hit is on the current
section. - The complete current-stage material kit is consumed on the first accepted hit.
- Later hits advance work without consuming the same kit again.
- Completing a stage reveals the next section; completing the last stage marks the result finished.
- Creative builders neither consume nor receive materials.
Work per stage is:
base hits = clamp(ceil(allocated items × hitsPerItem), minStageHits, maxStageHits)
final hits = clamp(round(base hits × quality multiplier), minStageHits, maxStageHits)
An explicit positive hits value replaces the first calculation, but quality and clamping still apply.
Sneak-right-click with the construction hammer.
- If the current stage has partial work, that work is cancelled and its committed materials are returned.
- Otherwise the last completed stage is removed and its materials are returned.
- If nothing has been built, the unfinished entity is removed.
Completed results are no longer handled by Axiomata's construction interaction. Maintenance or dismantling of finished content belongs to the consuming mod.
